Alrighty, for all of you penny pinching moms out there,
i found a really awesome and cheap little trick!
i was in Wal Mart Wednesday morning,
they were pulling out arts and crafts utencils to mark down.
Crayola manufactures these two sided boards,
one side black, the other white, both dry erase.
They come with an 8 pack of colors and a wipe!
My kids actually involved themselves in everything i did with the board.
They repeated the alphabet, tracing over the letters with their fingers,
they counted stars, they named the animals i could draw (lol)!
i was impressed. Especially since my children are the least patient out there!
So, i highly recommend the Crayola dry erase board!
They didn't mind sitting for two and three hours to learn,
no screaming or chasing or putting anyone in time out for two hours!
An autistic 4 year old, a 3 year old, a 2 year old and a 10 month old!
My ten month old just watched and babbled excitedly, but she was involved.
Next week on Thursday, i plan on using a posterboard flashcard activity...
