Hello everyone!
i must report that i have found my new and cheap Mommy-Fix!
i have a strict weekly budget.
There is a mommy/baby/daddy fund for clothing, toys, etc.
Then there is our new and much loved MakeThis Hotel Room A Home fund!
This week, we had $60 for MTHRAH.
So, i rediscovered Ross and my favorite thrift store "Lovelady".
Ross is having a huge sale on their already deeply discounted products.
Anything home accent or decor is 20-60% off of the stickered price.
i managed to get two decorative curtain rods, two sets of curtains,
an Irish proverb wall hanging, a big cork pin board, three sets of wall decals,
a purple mesh wall organiser, three Disney dry erase boards, a hat rack,
a 15 piece bathroom set, bathroom cleaner, a dish scrubber, a MM box,
a 12 piece toddler snack set, a wall cling calendar and schedule, a speed rope,
a really soft fleece baby blanket, an Eddie Bauer traveling baby bed, and a round
box of Juicy Couture glow in the dark crowns, hearts and stars.
Now, i only spent $30 at Ross, so i headed over to Lovelady with my coupon in hand.
Any people who might be reading in the southern states of the US who have access to Winn Dixie,
covet your receipts! They have very usable coupons on the back of them, such as the one i went to
utilize for Lovelady Thrift store. It gives you $5 off of a $25 purchase!
i got a few of my hospital things from there this last trip.
A new purse (still had tags), a few shirts, a few pajama pants,
a few monster footies to go with pj sets, (all of which were monster themed and all six pieces had tags,
and were new from RUE21!)and got each of the kiddies
a new pair of pajamas for all four kiddos, the big baby, and each of the kids got a new TY beanie baby!
i spent exactly $28 there, and used my $5 off coupon as well as the the two daily tag discounts,
i escaped having only spent $15, so i took my last $15 to Sally's beauty supply!
i bought a pack of extension wefts, the hair glue, miracle 7 oil spray, shampoo, conditioner,
six new OPI polishes, hair lock gel, a tourmaline brush, facial scrubbing pads, and 4 ratting combs.
When i got home with all of those bags, Alan decided that he was going to help me,
we are to incorporate a project budget for the kids once a month as well.
Our first project is not this week but the next week,
we are going to make a dress up closet/toy box for inside!
i can not wait to get started on that budget!
And our entrance way as well as the bathroom and far corner of the hotel room look like home now!
Now to take the weekend off of cooking and cleaning!
Relaxation, here i come!
